MALANG – Presidential Candidate (Capres) Ganjar Pranowo believes that the courage of the people of Malang is able to keep democracy healthy. This was reflected during a grand campaign entitled People’s Celebration at Ken Arok Square, Malang City.
For him, thousands of Malang residents who were willing to be in the rain to welcome his arrival were an encouragement. This is what Ganjar Pranowo said, the people of Malang have the militancy to ensure that the democratic party is held well.
“Here the militancy of the people in Malang is extraordinary. It rained hard until it stopped, they didn’t leave, it was amazing. I appreciate it, that’s why it rains on me. “That is a form of militancy shown,” said Ganjar Pranowo.
Apart from that, from this form of militancy he is absolutely sure that whatever pressure the Malang residents experience in supporting the candidate pair (Paslon) Ganjar Pranowo – Mahfud MD, will be resisted. But don’t let the pressure experienced by its supporters come from the apparatus.
“If conditions like that are visually bold like that, they don’t feel afraid, if they can face the pressures, then they can express themselves in accordance with their democracy, it feels like the people will fight back in their own way,” explained the former Governor of Central Java.
“Hopefully the entire apparatus can be neutral and let the contestants play as they are, and the supporters can be free. That is an election that can be fair. “I am happy that they, with their militancy, have participated to the end in this campaign,” he said.
