The announcement of Pa Ranjith and Vikram getting together was received with great fanfare. Filming has started in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. It is reported that Malavika Mohanan will be the female lead in the film. Earlier Rashmika Mandana was considered as the heroine.

The film is produced by KE Janjanavel Raja. Anpariv is the director of action choreography for films like ‘KGF’ and ‘Vikram’. SS Murthy is the art director. The film has been tentatively titled as ‘Chien 61’.

The film has collected around 500 crores from all over the world.
