New Delhi: Actress Bhavana says she has missed a lot of opportunities in Malayalam cinema. Bhavana made the remarks at a program titled ‘The Woman’ hosted by renowned Indian journalist Barka Dutt.

Bhavana says that he left the Malayalam industry for his peace of mind and that it is difficult to come and work in the same industry as if nothing had happened.
‘Many have denied me a chance in Malayalam cinema. But in Malayalam itself, many of my friends have given me a chance in cinema. Prithviraj, Jayasurya, Shaji Kailas, Aashiq Abu, Jinu Abraham and many others approached me saying that they would give me a chance.
But I had to reject those movies. I was too scared to go back to the same industry and work as if nothing had happened. It was for my peace of mind that I stayed away from Malayalam cinema for five years. Instead acted in other languages. But now I am listening to the story of some Malayalam movies
I have to prove that I am not wrong, I am acting in languages other than Malayalam. Now I have started listening to the scripts of some Malayalam movies, ‘says Bhavana.
At the same time, there are reports that Bhavana is returning to Malayalam cinema after a gap of five years. Bhavana will make her comeback with a film directed by Aashiq Abu.
