Malayalees have to enjoy Mass Masala films in other languages; Prithviraj
Tiger is a movie directed by Shaji Kailas and starring Prithviraj in the lead role. The movie will be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada on June 30. In a press meet held in Hyderabad as part of the promotion of the film, Prithviraj spoke about the lack of mass films currently facing Malayalam cinema. Prithviraj said that if Malayalees want to enjoy masala films, they have to rely on other languages.
‘The best films are made in Malayalam. Malayalam films are made with contemporary and artistic value. But mass films are not made in Malayalam. If you want to enjoy Mass Masala action movies, you have to watch Tamil movies, Telugu or Kannada. ‘; Says Prithvi.
Vivek Oberoi and Samyuktha Menon were also present at the promotion. After a long hiatus, Tiger is Shaji Kailas’ return to directing. The film is being produced by Listin Stephen and Supriya Menon under the banner of Magic Frames and Prithviraj Productions.
