An IT engineer from Palakkad Pudusherry was stabbed to death in Poland. Ibrahim died in Vrindavan Nagar, Puducherry. Relatives said Polish embassy officials did not specify the cause of the killing or the killer. Ibrahim, an IT department officer at ING Bank, lived with a native of Poland. The relatives received the information that he was killed at his residence. No motive for the murder or information about the accused has been received except that the accused has been arrested. Ibrahim came to Poland ten months ago after looking for work in Chennai and Bangalore. He was an IT department officer in ING Bank. On the morning of the 24th, he spoke to his family members on a video call. Called as usual that evening but did not pick up. On the morning of the 25th, the family members informed the embassy when they could not reach him on the phone.
The relatives demanded a detailed investigation into the murder. Talked to the embassy officials of both the countries to bring the body home quickly. Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muraleedharan informed that the central government will make adequate intervention.
