‘Malayankunju’ was directed by newcomer Sajimon. Mahesh Narayanan, Vaisakh, V.K. Sajimon was an associate of Prakash. Fahad starrer Faasil is producing this film.
The film is a survival thriller set in the backdrop of landslides. “In the film, the voice that has troubled one’s life the most becomes the hope of one’s life. This movie is what you saw in the trailer. As the ads say, people with claustrophobia may find this movie difficult. But they will understand this a little more. I can say that there is no other film like this in Malayalam,” said Fahad about the film.
The other stars of the film are Rajisha Vijayan, Indrans and Jafar Idukki. Malayankunj is written by Mahesh Narayanan.
After the films See U Soon and Malik, the two are teaming up through ‘Malayankunji’. Mahesh is also editing the film. AR Rahman is the music director of the film. Sound designers are Vishnu Govind and Sri Shankar.
