Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim of Malaysia has just made an exciting announcement for potential tourists from India and China. In an effort to boost the country’s tourism industry, Ibrahim has declared that starting December 1st, visitors from India and China will no longer require a visa to enter Malaysia. Additionally, these tourists will be allowed to stay in the country for up to 30 days.

This move comes after Malaysia had already announced visa-free entry for tourists from Vietnam, Thailand, and Sri Lanka. By opening up their borders to these countries, Malaysia aims to attract a larger number of tourists and boost economic development.

The Prime Minister expressed his excitement about this initiative and thanked the Chinese Embassy for granting free visas to Malaysian travelers for a 15-day stay. He also announced free visa offers to other countries in order to promote Malaysia’s tourism, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Iran, and West Asian countries such as Turkey and Jordan.

However, Prime Minister Ibrahim also made it clear that individuals with a criminal record will not be allowed entry. The Home Minister is expected to release further details on the visa requirements and regulations soon.

This announcement is expected to have a significant impact on Malaysia’s tourism industry and is seen as a positive step towards attracting visitors from some of the largest and most populous countries in the world.
