At the invitation of the Head of State, the new members of the Superior Council of the Judiciary were received at Koulouba Palace. “We were elected members of the Superior Council of the Judiciary and since then we had not made contact with the President of the Transition. This morning, we were invited for this purpose”, confided to the press, on leaving the hearing, the spokesman for the elected members of the Superior Council of the Judiciary, Aboubacar Guissé. This contact was an opportunity for the magistrates to set out certain concerns, in particular problems of discipline, training, internal rules and the need to carry out transfers. Also, to express their support for the draft Constitution. “The President of the Transition reassured us of his support, of his support for the judiciary. He indicated that in Mali, there are two major problems: the system and the man. The system is already in place to bring the Mali boat to port, so now we need the right men in the right place,” reported Aboubacar Guissé.
