On September 16, 2023, the lifeless and decomposing body was discovered in Mali, 1 administrative district of the urban commune of Mali.
According to information received, the body is believed to be the mortal remains of a very well-known man of around 45 years old, whose name is Ibrahima Sory Souaré ‘´Tempo’ˆ.
He had run away from home for many days (12 days) and the family was looking for him with alerts made to the security services and press releases played on rural radio to no avail.
Souleymane Souaré, the deceased’s cadet, began a search this Saturday and personally discovered the body in an abandoned house lying on its back, the blanket pulled up to its shoulders and its feet hanging out.
The smell of the decomposing body helped attract researchers to the macabre house.
After this discovery, Souleymane Souaré went to bring the news to the security forces and hospital agents who came to take charge of Tempo’s lifeless body.
Mamadou Cellou Barry from civil society believes that the victim was known for his addiction to alcohol, something confirmed by his younger brother who believes that he was honest and burned tires to sell the constituent metal, which allowed him to to indulge in his vice.
Ibrahima Sory Souaré was single and had no children and had the hope of taking a wife.
The deceased was buried this afternoon in the Madina Fass cemetery closest to the macabre discovery site.
