Actress Gayatri won the Best Actress Award for her role in Seenu Ramasamy’s ‘Mamanithan’.
The ‘Jaipur International Film Festival’ is underway in Jaipur. More than 10 Tamil movies are screened in this festival. Among them are Parthipan’s ‘Shadow of the Night’, Seenu Ramasamy’s ‘Mamanithan’, Sai Pallavi starrer ‘Kargi’, RK Suresh starrer ‘Vishitran’ and Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Mukij’.
Actress Aparna Sen received the Lifetime Achievement Award as part of the ceremony which will be held till January 10. Among other awards, Gayatri was awarded Best Actress. This award was given to him for his performance in the lead role of the Tamil film ‘Mamanithan’. Aparnasen presented the award to Gayatri.
