Mammooka said I can stay today, why am I just giving him tomorrow’s money: Riyaz Narmakala

Riyaz Narmakala is an actor who makes Malayali laugh through television serials and mimicry. The actor has played a very different character in Mammootty’s Roshak. Riyaz is sharing his location experience with Mammootty with Milestone Makers.

“During the shoot, I have a small role with Mammooka. Mammooka has to go to an event at five o’clock that day. At half past four, the scene was almost over.

At that time Mammooka asked if there was anything left. Then our director Nizam Basheer said that there is a small scene with Riazika. But then he said to the Nizam, why am I just giving him tomorrow’s money?

Also, when I went to the shoot, there were many junior artistes there. There are many women involved in the cashew factory. I was there listening to Mammooka.

They were all taking care of their affairs. All the necessary things were given to them on time and instructions were given to them to do it all. Even in his busy schedule, he found time to take care of it all.”

Earlier, Mani Shornoor also spoke about Mammooka. “I also had the problem of forgetting the dialogue when Mammooka came to the set. But Mammooka himself told us about our abilities. There is a scene in the film where I am sitting with Mammooka. While taking it, Mammooka looked at me and suddenly looked at the script.

When I looked at him, he said to me, “I don’t want you to look at me. It’s been ten years since you’ve been making sync sound. I don’t want to hold you.”

What he does from that is make us believe that we can be like him. I understood that it was said to make me relax. That’s why I was free to do that scene,” said Mani Shornoor.
