Ranjith directed the film ‘Katugannava Oru Yatra Perla’, an anthology based on MT Vasudevan Nair’s short stories. A major location of the film is Sri Lanka.
Mammootty is playing the role of PK Venugopal. The theme of the film is a veteran journalist’s recollection of a girl believed to be his father’s daughter from another relationship who was working in Sri Lanka. Mammootty and Ranjith are coming together after Puthana Paan.
Now cinematographer Sujith Vasudev is describing the experience of shooting in Sri Lanka with Mammootty. ‘The days in Sri Lanka were really eventful for me. Mammooka was very cool even under a lot of work pressure.
