Mammootty will play the role of a police officer in the film, which belongs to the thriller category. After ‘Aaratti’, this is also a film directed by B Unnikrishnan with a screenplay by Udayakrishna. Sneha, Amala Paul and Aishwarya Lakshmi are three heroines in the film. Leading South Indian actor Vinay Rai will play the villain. This is also the first Malayalam movie starring Vinay Rai. Also Shine Tom Chacko, Dileesh Pothan, Siddique, Jinu Abraham and many other stars are lined up in this film.
Cinematography is handled by Faiz Siddique, who handled the camera for ‘Operation Jawa’. Prithviraj is currently acting in the film ‘Kappa’ directed by Shaji Kailas. The name of the character played by Prithviraj is ‘Kota Madhu’. Prithviraj is in a mass look as ‘Kota Madhu’ in the film. Aparna Balamurali is the heroine of the film. Asif Ali also plays an important role. The film is based on the novel ‘Shankhumukhi’ written by GR Indugopan. Indu Gopan himself is writing the screenplay of the film. The movie is being produced in collaboration with FEFKE Writers’ Union by Theater of Dreams, started in partnership with Ginu Abraham, Dolvin Kuriakos and Dileesh Nair. ‘Kappa’ is the film that was announced to be directed by Venu.
