Jayasuriya’s Eesho, Nivin Pauly’s Padavet, Anoop Menon’s film Varal and Bib and Vishnu Unnikrishnan’s Fireworks are also slated for release.
Malayalam cinema is gearing up to witness major releases in October. Mammootty’s Roshak, Mohanlal’s Monster, Manju Warrier’s Ayesha and Vellaripattanam are in the pipeline. Vellaripattanam is likely to move to November. Nivinpoly’s Padavet, Anoop Menon starrer Varaal and Bibin George and Vishnu Unnikrishnan’s directorial debut Suttakattu will also hit the screens in October. Roshaq is Mammootty’s next theatrical release after the mega hit Bhishmaparvat. Directed by Nizam Basheer, the film stars Jagadish, Sharafuddin and Grace Antony in a guest role as well as Asif Ali. Monster is a Mohanlal film which will be released in theaters after Aarat. It is special that Mohanlal and director Vysakh are reuniting after Pulimurugan. It has a huge star cast including Lakshmi Manchu, Honeyrose, Swasika and Sudev Nair. Ayesha is all set to be the first Indo-Arabic film to be directed by debutant Aamir Pallikal. Manju Warrier plays the title character. Soubin Shahir is another important star in Vellaripattanam directed by debutant Mahesh Vettiyar. Directed by Nadirsha and starring Jayasuriya, Jaffer Idukki and Namitaprammod, Eesho will be streamed on Sony Live on October 5. Aditi Balan is the female lead in Nivin Pauly’s film Padavet written and directed by debutant Liju Krishna. It will be released on October 21. Kannan Thamarakulam Kannan is a big budget film with a huge star cast. Written by Anoop Menon himself. Bibin George and Vishnu Unnikrishnan will be making their directorial debut in the film Fireworks.
