Harikrishnans was also a film where both Hari and Krishnan acted in competition. Juhi’s character Meera is a girl who is loved by Hari and Krishna. The film had two climaxes. Faasil has a double climax where both get Juhi Chawla to satisfy Mammootty and Mohanlal fans alike. The climax of Harikrishnan was whose love the heroine Juhi Chawla will accept. This saw moviegoers in some theaters seeing Mohanlal getting Juhi. Some other theaters also showed Mammootty getting Juhi. According to Mammootty, the two climaxes in two areas of Kerala were due to the failure of some projects. In those days, two types of climaxes were used to promote the film. One is Meera getting Hari and the other is Krishna getting Meera. It is not meant to be spread to specific places.
