Mammootty’s latest film is ‘Kathal The Core’ directed by Jio Baby. The shooting of the movie started last month in Kochi. Now comes the news that the shooting of the scenes with Mammootty in the film has been completed. Mammootty himself took to Twitter to share a picture of himself with Jio Baby. ‘The shooting of my scenes in the film Kathal The Core is over. Mammootty noted that it was a pleasure to work with such vibrant people.
Mammootty also prepared a special biryani for the crew. Jyothika and director Jio Baby can be seen serving biryani with Mammootty in the pictures. Biryani was also available when actor Suriya came to the location the other day. Suriya tweeted thanking Mammootty for the delicious meal.
After a while Jyothika is acting in Malayalam film ‘Kathal’. Priyataram Suriya came to the location as a guest during the shoot at Kolancherry Brookside Club to meet Jyothika and Mammootty. After spending a lot of time with Mammooka, Jyothika and the Kathal team, Suriya went back.
After ‘Roshak’, which brought a new cinematic experience to the audience, ‘Kathal’ is the film produced by Mammootty’s company. South Indian actress Jyothika is the female lead in the film starring Mammootty himself. Kathal is the seventh film directed by Jio Baby. The film is distributed by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films.
Lalu Alex, Muthumani, Chinnu Chandini, Sudhi Kozhikode, Anagha Aku, Josie Sijo, Adarsh Sukumaran and others are acting in other important roles in the film. Mammootty’s first film Nanpakan Nereth Mayakkum, directed by Lijo Jose Pallissery, was selected for the International Competition category at the Kerala International Film Festival.
