Puducherry: In Puducherry, the Chennai police arrested a man who fled with a Benz car after defrauding a Bengaluru businessman of Rs 1.30 lakh.

In this case, in August last year, Michal Udararaj, 59; The person introduced himself and said on the mobile phone that he is a lawyer and that he will get you a loan of one crore rupees as an investment amount and you have to give me the commission amount for that.
After that, Michal met Udararaj and Sheikh Shawali in Bengaluru and Chennai and talked about investment loan. At that time, Michal Udararaj took the documents of the factory, Sheikh Shawali and his son’s passport, ATM, cards and laptop.
Then on the 20th, both of them met at a Puducherry hotel. At that time, the commission amount from Michal Udararaj to Sheikh Shawali was Rs. 1,30 lakhs and his junior will come and tell about other details. He told him to wait in the room till then and went out with his Mercedes Benz car.
In the next few minutes, Sheikh Shawali received a message on his mobile phone that he had withdrawn Rs.30 thousand from his bank account. He also tried to contact Michal Kardiraj on phone. But the phone was switched off.
Knowing that he was cheated, Sheikh Shawali lodged a complaint with Odiyanchal police yesterday.
Accordingly, the police registered a case and conducted an investigation. Based on the information received, the police under the leadership of sub-inspector Murugan, Balachander, Mohan, Yumparithi, and Karunakaran left that night, caught Michal Udararaj, who was hiding in Nungambakkam, and brought him to Puducherry for questioning.
In it, it was revealed that he is the son of Gnanamuthu from Ponneri, Thiruvallur district, and that he had defrauded Sheikh Shawali, a businessman from Bengaluru. Subsequently, they confiscated his Benz car. Later they arrested Michal Kardiyaraj, produced him in court and put him in jail.
Also, where has he kept the money, passport, laptop, ATM, card taken from Sheikh Shawali. Also, they are investigating whether he has cheated anyone else.
