A man was rescued after falling from a pole, in Guarapari (ES), in the metropolitan region of Vitória. The information is from the newspaper A Gazeta.
What happened:
Witnesses said the man would be drunk and climbed a pole, about 5 meters from the ground. Videos on social media show the man trying to balance on high, in contact with some wires. He allegedly touched high voltage wires at the time and fell from the pole, located in the São Gabriel neighborhood, last Saturday afternoon (3).
A Military Police team was called by witnesses, after the man fell and got bleeding on his head as a result of the is left over. The identity of the individual has not been released.
A Samu (Mobile Emergency Service) vehicle was called to provide care. He was taken to a local hospital. There is no updated information about his health status.
In a note, EDP, Espírito Santo’s energy concessionaire, reported that an unauthorized person accessed the power grid and regretted the accident.
EDP regrets what happened and emphasizes that only professionals authorized by the company can intervene in the electrical grid.
