A 32-year-old was fatally injured by several knife wounds on the forecourt of the train station in Dornbirn early Sunday evening. An argument broke out between the man from Iraq and three 15-year-olds, during which the 32-year-old was stabbed several times in the back. The adolescents fled, two of them were caught as part of a manhunt. The third youth was still on the run on Monday.
According to the police, it was not immediately clear what caused the dispute. The interrogations of those arrested continued on Monday, the 32-year-old in hospital care was not able to be questioned. However, his condition was described as stable.
The fugitive was “intensively searched” on Monday, according to the executive. The murder weapon has not yet been secured.
