The trial begins against a man caught with 3,001 narcotic tablets

The trial against a man caught in September with 3,001 narcotic tablets begins on Monday. It was the alertness of train staff that led to the man’s arrest, as they alerted the police about a passenger who didn’t seem to be doing well.

The man was found in possession of a variety of narcotics, including tramadol, oxycondone, and metonitazen. Of particular concern is the metonitazen, described as 1000 times stronger than morphine and potentially fatal in very small doses.

Upon further investigation, police also discovered more narcotic tablets at the man’s home, along with SEK 70,000 in cash and ten mobile phones. As a result, the man from Luleå is facing serious drug charges. Despite the evidence against him, he denies any wrongdoing.

The trial is expected to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the man’s possession of such a large quantity of narcotics and the potential impact on the community. Authorities are hopeful that the trial will lead to justice being served and serve as a warning to those involved in drug-related activities.
