A man has been sentenced to death for secretly leaking a South Korean series squid game aired on Netflix in North Korea.
The man from China is said to have sold copies of the series on a USB drive. Local media reported that a schoolboy who bought the copy from him was sentenced to life imprisonment and 6 others to 5 years rigorous imprisonment.
TV shows and movies from other countries are banned because North Korea believes they could cause cultural degradation.
