Man Seriously Injured in Loader Accident in Färgelanda Municipality
A man has been rushed to the hospital via ambulance helicopter following a serious accident in Färgelanda municipality in Dalsland, according to a statement released by the police on their website.
The incident took place at 1pm on Saturday and involved a loader. The man was reportedly crushed in the accident but managed to free himself.
Police spokesperson Stefan Gustafsson informed TT that it was a “crush injury with a vehicle, a loader of some kind.”
While the injury is classified as serious, the man remained conscious throughout the ordeal. He was immediately transported to the hospital for further medical attention.
Gustafsson clarified that the incident was not a workplace accident but rather classified as an accident.
