A man was injured, this Friday morning (8), in the Colibri neighborhood, in Campo Grande, after being hit by a gunshot during a dog attack.
According to the incident report, the man was accompanied by his wife and the pitbull dog that belongs to the couple, when the animal started to get aggressive and attacked the woman.
During the commotion, an unknown boy appeared and asked the dog’s owner if he could shoot the animal to stop the attack. The guardian authorized it and two shots were fired.
One of them hit the dog’s belly, while another hit the hand of the animal’s guardian who was taken to an Emergency Care Unit in the region and then to Santa Casa de Campo Grande. The dog was taken to a veterinary clinic.
Due to the shots, the case was registered at Depac Cepol and is still under investigation.
