The Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR) sentenced Jorge Alberto Beltrán Guerra to 30 years and 8 months in prison for rape of a minor or incapable person aggravated in a continuous manner and sexual harassment, committed between 2013 and 2022 in San Miguel.

According to information from the Prosecutor’s Office, the victims are sisters and were 9 and 14 years old when they began to be sexually assaulted by Beltrán Guerra.

“For the crime of rape of a minor or incapacitated person, aggravated in a continuous manner, the Second Sentencing Court of San Miguel imposed 26 years and 8 months in prison and he must pay $375 in civil liability. The victim suffered sexual violence since 2013 when she was 9 years old and the last rape occurred in 2022 when she had turned 17,” the FGR mentioned.

In 2014, another victim was 14 years old and the defendant sexually harassed her until she decided to leave the house in 2015. For this crime she was sentenced to 4 years in prison and to pay $300 in civil liability.
