Specialists from the American Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) found in the pocket of the man who attempted to assassinate US presidential candidate Donald Trump, a remote control for homemade devices that he kept in his car. This was reported by ABC News with reference to sources, Day.Az reports with reference to Gazeta.ru.

“The remote transmitter may have been intended to activate two suspicious devices found in the suspect’s car and one in his home,” the report says.

It is specified that the devices were made in containers with ammunition, which also contained receivers, which, presumably, were supposed to receive a signal from the suspect’s remote control.

The objects are currently undergoing examination. Experts are determining whether they were intended to cause harm to people or to distract attention.

The assassination attempt on Donald Trump took place on the evening of July 13. The politician was shot several times, after which he was taken off stage with a bloody ear and hospitalized. After receiving medical assistance, Trump was discharged from the hospital.

The gunman was killed on the spot. According to sources at the New York Post, the young man opened fire from the roof of a manufacturing plant about 120 meters from the stage where Trump was speaking.
