New Delhi: The multinational airline said that the drug addict who urinated on a female passenger in an Air India flight has been dismissed. On November 26 last year, a 70-year-old female passenger was reported to have been urinated on by a fellow male passenger in an Air India flight from New York to Delhi.

The accused begged and cried to the female passenger not to report the matter to the police because it would be shameful for his wife and children to know about it. It was said that the victim and the man had reconciled and did not file a complaint with the DGCA. However, the woman alleged that the airline staff forced her to settle down with the accused.

In this case, it was revealed that the person involved in the disgusting act was Shankar Mishra, who worked for the Indian division of Wells Fargo, a multinational financial services company headquartered in the United States. The company said that he has been removed from the job.

A warning to airlines
Any misbehavior on the plane should be reported immediately. Appropriate action should be taken against passengers who misbehave on board. The Directorate of Civil Aviation has warned that strict action will be taken against airline employees who fail to do so.
