BOLZANO. Brawl broken up by the police in a bar in via Parma, Bolzano. On Saturday afternoon, officers were called after a man with a baseball bat displaying violent behavior. Once on site, the police ordered the man, a 41-year-old Albanian with multiple criminal convictions, to throw away the bat. After following the officers’ orders, the man explained that he had been in the bar to clarify some disagreements with another person later identified as a 44-year-old Italian, also with multiple criminal convictions and clearly state of inebriation at the time of the episode.
The men’s two companions were also present at the scene. The police have all four were reported for causing alarm. The police commissioner of Bolzano Paolo Sartori issued the personal prevention measure of the oral public safety warning to each of the subjects involved. The two protagonists of the dispute were also banned from entering public establishments in the capital for two years
