A recent survey conducted by research company Morning Consult on behalf of Zoom revealed some interesting insights about the use of artificial intelligence in the workplace. The survey, which had over 11,000 participants from Europe, Japan, Singapore, and Australia, found that 73% of managers use artificial intelligence applications almost every day, while only 32% of employees do so.

What’s more, the survey also found that 90% of managers reported feeling comfortable using artificial intelligence applications, compared to only 65% of rank-and-file employees. This suggests that there may be a disparity in the confidence and willingness to embrace AI technology between managers and their teams.

The survey also shed light on the different ways in which managers and employees use AI in the workplace. While employees primarily use AI to increase efficiency and automate work processes, managers see it as an effective tool during and after conference calls.

Interestingly, both groups agreed that artificial intelligence contributes the most to saving time. This indicates that the benefits of AI are recognized by both managers and employees, but there may be differences in how each group perceives and utilizes the technology.

Overall, the survey findings highlight the need for organizations to ensure that employees are comfortable and proficient in using AI technologies, and that there is alignment in how managers and teams approach and benefit from these tools in the workplace.
