Friedhelm Schaffrath’s furniture company generates millions in sales. However, he is not at all satisfied with the federal government’s policies.

The founder and managing director of the Schaffrath furniture store, Friedhelm Schaffrath, has sharply criticized the federal government. “At the beginning, I really had sympathy for Economics Minister Robert Habeck. Nothing of that remains. And a chancellor who only moderates, a government that maneuvers – that cannot work,” Schaffrath told the “Rheinische Post”.

The former managing director of the textile company Trigema, Wolfgang Grupp, recently made similar comments. “The government must go,” Grupp said at an event hosted by the media portal “The Pioneer”. Read more about this here.

Germany needs leadership and a strengthening of small and medium-sized businesses, added entrepreneur Schaffrath, who runs kitchen studios and furniture stores primarily in the Rhineland. “The traffic light coalition is partly responsible for the unstable situation in the country through its policies, its disunity, its lack of leadership and its hesitation. It is a spectacle and incomprehensible.”

The Schaffrath Group was founded in 1961 and has 1,400 employees. It currently generates an annual turnover of 325 million euros.
