Patients can cope with epilepsy simply by adjusting their behavior as follows.
Adjusting behavior in daily life
1. Avoid sleep deprivation, including staying up late.
2. Avoid eating drinks that contain caffeine as an ingredient and drinks that contain alcohol as an ingredient.
3. Avoid going up to high places where there is a chance of falling.
4. Avoid working with sharp objects or machinery that can cause harm. If we have a seizure in that area
5. Avoid certain sports such as boxing, gymnastics, mountain climbing, diving, long-distance swimming or swimming without close supervision, extreme sports, shooting, etc.
6. Avoid bathing in bathtubs, canals, or water sources where there is a risk of drowning.
7. Avoid sleeping in a prone position.
