This is an original idea for an outing to discover the Cotentin and Bessin marshes in Normandy. Less known than those of the Marais poitevin, they nevertheless offer a beautiful panorama and can be discovered during a cruise.
In the heart of the Cotentin marshes in Carentan-les-Marais (Manche), a ship disturbs the tranquility of the storks. On board, Évelyne and Myriam enjoy cruising to the end of the world. “Apart from the boat, we see birds everywhere, there are plants, it’s very natural”, rejoices one of them. Born in the marshes, Vincent Bisson has been organizing river trips for four years. Accompanied by Jocelyn Desmares, naturalist and ornithologist, he introduces you to the flora and fauna of the river.
Swamps are only navigable in summer
