Manchester City get scared but get away with Brington

by time news

Manchester City, after a few scares on the hour mark, ended up winning against Brighton.

And in the end, Manchester City wins. Manhandled by the Seagulls, Pep Guardiola’s men finally won 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium against Brighton.

The inevitable Erling Haaland offered himself a double (21st, 44th). A first goal after a rough shoulder duel against the last defender and a flat foot in the empty goal, before a second goal from the penalty spot shortly before the break.

In the second period, Leandro Trossard gave hope to a whole people (53rd). For a few minutes, Brighton pushed and thought they equalized but Kevin De Bruyne, with a splendid strike in the skylight, made it 3-1.

Manchester City are second in the Premier League and are one point behind Arsenal. Brighton remain eighth.
