Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. City (5-0) advanced to the quarter-finals on the strength of Aggregate’s first-quarter lead. The second quarter match against Portuguese club Sporting CP ended in a draw. Despite reaching the quarterfinals, City fans were disappointed not to be able to score in the second quarter in front of their own fans.
Both teams had several goal chances in both halves of the match but were unable to find the back of the net. Riyadh Mehras, Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden and Sterling all scored in the first quarter to give City a 5-0 lead. Currently, Manchester City are top of the English Premier League.

Meanwhile, in another match in the Champions League, Real Madrid defeated PSG to advance to the quarterfinals. Real Madrid returned to the Champions League quarter-finals after a 1-0 defeat to PSG in the first quarter. Real beat PSG by three goals to one. Kareem Benzema scored a hat-trick to lead Real to a thrilling victory.
