jpnn.com – Saudi Arabia will host the Indonesian National Team in the first match of the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers in the Asian zone.

The Saudi Arabia vs Indonesia duel will be held at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, Jeddah, Thursday (5/9/2024) evening local time or Friday (6/9/2024) early morning WIB.

This match is quite crucial for both teams to maintain their hopes of advancing to the next phase.

Saudi Arabia as the host certainly does not want to lose points in front of its supporters.

Manchester City legend Yaya Toure, who is now on the Saudi Arabian coaching team, said that Salem Al Dawsari and his colleagues are ready to welcome the Indonesian National Team.

“Back to work. Next 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. Let’s get on with it,” Yaya Toure wrote on his Instagram account.

Yaya Toure is one of Roberto Mancini’s assistants in Saudi Arabia. The former Barcelona player joined in November 2023.

While still an active player, Toure had a good relationship with Mancini at Manchester City.
