A Manchester City idol in the past decade, Kompany will be back at the stadium that made him famous. Wearing the Citizens shirt, the former Belgian defender was English champion four times, the last two under Guardiola’s command.
Retired from the field in 2020, Kompany has been coach of Burnley since 2022. Last season, he won the English second division title with an incredible 101 points.
