London: Arsenal, who have won all five of their English Premier League matches so far this season, are set to clash with a fast-rising Manchester United team at Maneu’s home ground, Old Trafford.
In this eagerly awaited game, the Brazilian star Gabriel Jesus, who came from Manchester City and is now playing brilliantly for Arsenal, will score a goal against Manchester United or at the other end, Jaden Sancho of Manchester United will break the Arsenal defense and score a goal.
In the end both these teams won their matches. Manchester United beat Leicester City 1-0. Sancho scored the only winning goal in that game.
Arsenal also beat Aston Villa 2-1.
After two successive defeats, United have nine points as of 7.30pm last night, with wins over Liverpool, Southampton and Leicester.
Arsenal are at the top of the table with 15 points after five wins.
According to football history books, Arsenal have not won six games in a row since the 1947-48 season. It will be recalled that Arsenal won the league award that season.
Maneu’s Old Trafford stadium has not always been a happy place for Arsenal. Arsenal have won just one of their last 15 meetings with Manchester United. Whether that situation will change or continue will be known today.
Arsenal’s attacking players will have to work extra hard as Manchester United’s current defense is strong with goalkeeper David Dikaya, defenders Dalot, Varane, Marty Ness and Malasia.
Having bought the right players, Manchester United will have to work hard until the last minute to defeat Arsenal, who are now in a strong position.
