Manju Warrier is now ‘Ayesha’; Filming began in Ras Al Khaimah

The Indo-Arabic film ‘Ayesha’ starring Manju Warrier has started shooting in Ras Al Khaimah. Directed by newcomer Aamir Pallikkal, the film is written by Ashif Kakkodi. Apart from Malayalam, the film will be released in English, Arabic, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and other Indian language editions.

The film was switched on by Ras Al Khaimah Al Qasimi Palace owner Tariq Ahmad Ali Al Sharhan Al Nuaimi and renowned UAE writer Muhsin Ahmad Salam Al Qaeda Al Ali. The event was attended by representatives of the Ras Al Khaimah Indian Association, SA Salim Nasser Al Maha. The film will be shot in India in Delhi and Bombay by the end of February.

Apart from Manju Warrier, foreign stars like Radhika, Sajna, Purnima, Latifa (Tunisia), Salama (UAE), Jennifer (Philippines), Sarafina (Nigeria), Sumayya (Yemen) and Islam (Syria) are also in the cast. Produced by Zakaria under the banner of Cross Border Camera, the film is co-produced by Feather Touch Movie Box, Imagine Cinemas and Last Exit Cinemas under the banner of Samsudheen, Zakaria Wawad, Harris Desam and Aneesh PB.

The film is composed by M Jayachandran and features famous Indian and Arabic playback singers. Lyricist: BK Harinarayanan, Suhail Koya. Cinematography is by Vishnu Sharma.
