VMonisha is a Malayalam actress who has entered the Malayalam film industry with her long eyes and long hair. Monisha has left this world with a handful of great movies left. Actor Manoj K Jayan remembers his beloved colleague who passed away 29 years ago.
The actor’s post was with a few lines from the song in the movie ‘Kudumbasametham’ in which the two acted together. Manoj K Jayan wrote, “Dear friend Monishan, prostrate with bright memories.” Manoj has also shared an old picture with Monisha.
Monisha died in a car accident in 1992. The accident happened when Monisha and her mother were on their way to Ernakulam from Thiruvananthapuram. Monisha died on the spot from head injuries.
All the movies starring Monisha were excellent one on one. As well as its songs. Apart from Malayalam, Monisha has acted in Tamil and Kannada. Monisha was only 15 years old when she won the National Award for Best Actress in 1986 for her performance in her first film, Nakshatra.
