To Manolis Mavrommatis finally belongs to the apartment of Kolonaki in which a fire broke out in the early hours of Sunday.
The house of the well-known sportswriter and former MEP is located on Anagnostopoulou Street on the second floor of an apartment building and at the time of the fire he was inside the apartment with his wife.
As it became known, the two were freed by the forces of the Fire Department who rushed to the scene and were taken to the General State Hospital of Athens with breathing problems.
The first information indicates that the couple forgot pot in an apparently lit kitchen and thus caused a fire.
