The Paralympic swimming champion would suffer stalking from his ex, Lucrezia Hailé Selassie, whom he met on Big Brother VIP. Il Messaggero reports it. The Rome Prosecutor’s Office has requested an immediate judgment, with a hearing set for March 13
For months Manuel Bortuzzo, a paralympic swimming champion, was persecuted by his former boss, Lucrezia Hailé Selassie, who also threatened him with death in an attempt to convince him to go back with her. Il Messaggero reports this, stating that the Rome Prosecutor’s Office has asked to try the woman, a self-styled Ethiopian princess, who is accused of stealing the swimmer.
Audition for March 13
The two met during the 2021-2022 edition of Big Brother VIP. They had a brief relationship, which was born and ended within the reality show. however, the woman would not accept the end of that relationship. When the program ended, Hailé Selassie began harassing Bortuzzo with increasingly aggressive behavior, pressuring him to report her. Before the summer, following the investigations, the 26-year-old was placed under a restraining order and forced to wear an electronic bracelet for stalking. Meanwhile, the Prosecutor’s Office closed the examination and requested an immediate judgment. Haile Selassie chose the abbreviated procedure, and the hearing before the judge was set for March 13. In the indictment, the prosecutors emphasize how the woman caused Bortuzzo “a state of anxiety and fear and a well-founded fear about his safety, forcing him to change his lifestyle” and “not feeling free to move peacefully and start a new relationship.”
