Many producers had said that Vinayak should be replaced; Suresh Babu is the screenwriter of ‘Oruthi’

Oruthi is a comeback film starring Navya Nair. The show has seemed a bit unfocused in recent episodes, however;

SI Antony, played by Vinayakan, played an equally important role in the film along with Navya.

Vinayakan is an honest police officer who stands by Radhamani in her crisis, played by Navya. When Radhamani, who is being deceived by the influential and wealthy, does not know how to deal with the crises that are coming back into her life, it is SI Antony, played by Vinayakan, who guides them.

Now, Suresh Babu, the screenwriter of the film, has revealed that many producers have said that the film will not be produced if Vinayakan plays the role. He told DoolNews.

‘The first fixed character in the film is Vinayakan. It was then that the search for the heroine began. Manju Warrier, Parvathy and many more options were ahead. It is at that time that you can see the new photos of Navya.

Seeing this, it seemed that Navya would be apt for this character. Then he did not go looking for anyone else. He used to talk to Navya and decide that this is his next film, ‘says Suresh Babu.

He says that many producers have said that they would be ready to make a film only if Vinayak’s police role was given to another actor.

‘There was an offer to produce Vinayakan if he could be given the role of a policeman by another actor like Prithviraj. But Vinayaka decided not to change. In every sense, that character is what Vinayaka wants. That’s how Navu’s friend’s production company finally got ready to make the film. ‘

He added that this is not a problem as there are actors like Fahad or Kunchacko Boban in films like Trance and Pada and this problem comes when Vinayak is making the film alone.
