The Ministry of Environmental Protection also reports that 1,100 sites have been or are operating in the transportation industry, including garages and gas stations, about 600 sites had or have had industrial activity and the other sites had agricultural, security or touching waste sites. In addition, more than 1,900 sites are located in an area with high hydrological sensitivity and about 2,000 are located in settlement areas. Another pollution is ground gases, which have been detected at more than 1,400 sites.
