The wait was over and Kunjalimarakar arrived at the theaters at 12 noon on Thursday. There was an influx of fans to the pre-arranged fan show. With songs, dances and chants of joy, they celebrated the film of their beloved.

There is no other film produced by Ashirwad that has made as much news in the woods. From the day it was announced, news about Marakkara started coming …. The release, which has been postponed several times since Corona, has been the subject of national awards, controversy, and so on.

The movie ‘Kunjalimarakkar Arabian Sea Lion’ tells the story of a hero who died fighting for his homeland. The movie starts with a beautiful song. The story then moves on with history, hearsay and imagination. Most of the scenes confirm Priyadarshan’s statement that less history and more imagination. While telling the story based on historical events, love and romance scenes unfold beautifully.

The film is directed by Kunjalimarakar IV, the commander of the Zamorin’s navy. Kunhali’s past, life’s challenges, losses and survival are described from the beginning. The first half of the film is about the return of Marakkar IV to the soil of the Zamorin and how he became a hero of the land. Kunhali stepped down at a time when the people were not getting justice and fairness from the ruling king.

“Kunhali is hidden in the hearts of the natives, not even God can touch him” – Kunhali’s popularity is evident from the dialogue between the characters.

The Lion of the Arabian Sea is a must watch movie on the big screen. The film opens with a spectacular view of the sea, naval battles, raging waves and blazing fires. The sea battle waged by the Marakkars against the Parangipada is warmly received in the theaters.

The film not only shows the magicians at sea, but also the warriors who fall for the deception. Marakkar stands tall in Malayalam cinema with his technical prowess. All the scenes where the sea, the waves and the fire are filled have a strong presentation. Priyadarshan’s touch in the lyrical scenes is also noteworthy. Another highlight of the film is the battle scenes presented for realism.

When Mohanlal arrives as Kunhalimarakkara, Pranav tells the story of Kunhali’s adolescence through Mohanlal. Pranav, who is far ahead in acting compared to the previous films, is seen in Kunjalimarakkar. Siddique, who came in as a silkworm, and Harish Peradi, who played Mangattachan, were notable.
The film is a tribute to Sabu Cyril, who created the Zamorin’s palace, interior, wooden walls, warships, artillery and artillery. S. Thiru’s ability to handle the camera, including in battle scenes, deserves special mention. Editing by MS Ayyappan.

The film stars Manju Warrier, Suhasini, Nedumudi Venu, Fazil, Sunil Shetty, Prabhu, Arjun Sarja, Ashok Selvan, Mukesh, Siddique, Innocent, Mamukoya, Keerthisuresh, Kalyani Priyadarshan and many more. The movie is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas.
