A few days ago, Verena Kerth made serious allegations against her ex Marc Terenzi. Now the singer is defending himself – and publicly criticizing the TV celebrity.
Verena Kerth and Marc Terenzi have been a couple since 2022, but there has been speculation about a breakup for months. “Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. That’s true. Marc and I obviously had a tough time and haven’t been a couple for a long time,” the 43-year-old wrote on her Instagram channel at the end of July – thus confirming the end of their relationship.
A little later, Verena Kerth made fun of her ex-partner in an interview with “Bild”. She claimed that Marc Terenzi owed her money. The former boy band star is not taking these accusations lying down. Now he is describing his view of things – and is not speaking particularly positively about the presenter.
During the course of their relationship, Verena Kerth and Marc Terenzi repeatedly made the headlines: The reports ranged from serious arguments to excessive alcohol consumption. A time that did not pass without a trace for Terenzi: “I had to get out of the relationship to save myself. I urgently needed to change something in my life and leave. The last year was the worst of my life,” he explains to “Bild”.
He cannot understand Verena Kerth’s statement that he owes her money: “She talks about 1,600 euros in rent, but it is her condo. So why should I pay a share of the rent?” Marc Terenzi describes his confusion.
It wasn’t just the dispute with his ex-girlfriend that weighed on Marc Terenzi in recent months, he also had to face a lawsuit for sexual harassment. In July 2022, the former jungle camp star is said to have touched the then 15-year-old daughter of his former ex Anja Rascher on the buttocks and called her “sexy”. Whenever he looks back on these events, Marc Terenzi does not recognize himself. “I want to become the Marc I actually am again. Be creative, make music,” explains the 46-year-old. To do this, he will be leaving Germany for a while: Terenzi is currently planning to move from Berlin to Mallorca.
