Marcello Grandmathe owner of the historic and eponymous Parma company specializing in <a href="http://www.time.news/mutti-the-owner-marcello-died-he-was-83-years-old/" title="Mutti, the owner Marcello died: he was 83 years old”>tomato processing and fertilisers, has died at the age of 83. The Gazzetta di Parma reports it.
Born on Christmas Day 1940, after graduating in Economics and Commerce he married Angelita Rossi on 19 September 1966, whom he met at university. And from the marriage was born Francesco, CEO of Mutti since 1994.
“My father died in the house where he was born. The house within the company,” he tells the newspaper. The life of Marcello Mutti was spent at the ‘Court’ of Piazza di Montechiarugolo, an entrepreneur “who saw in the company – continues his son Francesco – a higher value than the simple economic profit. He had a more rooted vision, focused on work, respect and planning.”
