This Wednesday at the close of A Dos Voces (TN), Marcelo Bonelli shared his anguish over the acquittal of all those accused of covering up the death of his colleague Débora Pérez Volpin.

“There was thousands of pieces of evidence about the cover-up and those involved had requested probation to not go to trial, which indicates that they were acknowledging the irregularities. Despite this, the judge acquitted all the accused. The malpractice ruling is in force and the doctor was convicted, but this was a derivative trial. And the judge established impunity. The sadness is total,” lamented the journalist.

The indignation of the host of the classic TN cycle is due to the fact that the Oral Criminal and Correctional Court No. 26 considered that the former director of the Roberto Martingano clinic and the surgical instrument technician, accused of false testimony, did not commit a crime. The prosecution and the complaint had requested three years in prison for each.
