March against feminicide and gender-based violence takes thousands of people to the streets in France

A tide of people dressed in purple, holding purple posters and even face masks with the color representing feminism, swept the streets of several French cities, this Saturday (25), to mark the International Day Against Violence Against Women. Tens of thousands of people demonstrated to demand more resources from the government in the fight against feminicide and gender-based violence.
