For 15 years, marcher Erick Barrondo has carried out activities with the residents of the community, mainly with the children of his Chiyuc village in Alta Verapaz. According to the marcher, this year he was able to give more presents to the children, thanks to the people who have helped him fulfill the children’s dreams.

«We did it with the marching team because if we can share with others, not only will everything be won in the sporting career, but in the race of life. I take my colleagues so that they realize that although sometimes we have militants, we complain about how little we need. People, despite their limitations, maintain faith that one day they will be helped.»commented Barrondo, who says he hopes these activities can reach other communities.

In addition, he said that they took the opportunity to bring medicine to some local hospitals who sponsor and then dedicated themselves to organizing the entire activity to make it a very special day.
