DOHA: Players who commit fouls are often given yellow and red cards, but coaches rarely get them. However, South Korea’s coach Paulo Bento bought the card both times in the Qatar World Cup.
Bento received a yellow card in the first match against Uruguay and ‘upgraded’ it by picking up a red card in yesterday’s match. Bento was angered when the final whistle was not allowed to take a corner in second-half injury time. The red card is for hitting the referee on the ground.
