Kozhikode: Former KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran against INTUC. It is not right that the march to the Asianet News headquarters in association with CIT was organized. Mullappally said that it is cultural fascism to cover the mouths of the truth-telling media. He said it was a breach of discipline for Congress leaders to attend a seminar at the CPM party congress. Discipline is important for leaders. There is a direct war going on with the CPM. Mullappally Ramachandran added that it was not acceptable to attend the seminar at that time.

Mullappally Ramachandran’s criticism came after the CPM announced that Congress leader KV Thomas would attend the party congress in violation of the KPCC tax. MV Jayarajan told Asianet News that KV Thomas will attend the party congress seminar in Kannur. Thomas’s position is correct that the mission of the opposition is not to oppose everything. The party congress seminar also shares the same idea. He said Shashi Tharoor’s office had informed him that the KPCC was banned. However, KV Thomas’ office said it had not decided whether to attend the seminar.

You are invited to attend the Party Congress Seminar. However, KV Thomas responded that the decision on participation would be as per the AICC decision. A letter has been sent to the party president asking for permission to attend the seminar. KV Thomas clarified that the matter of participation will be decided according to the reply.

Earlier, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor had said that the CPM would withdraw from the seminar as part of the party congress, according to the AICC leadership. Sonia Gandhi had instructed Tharoor and KV Thomas not to attend the seminar out of respect for the sentiments of the KPCC leadership. Tharoor has officially confirmed that he will not be attending the event under these circumstances. Earlier, KPCC president K Sudhakaran had warned that action would be taken against Shashi Tharoor if he attended the CPM party congress seminar. However, Tharoor and KV Thomas said that despite the KPCC ban, the final decision should be taken by the national leadership.

The CPM has invited Shashi Tharoor and KV Thomas to a seminar at the party congress. The KPCC has decided that party leaders should not go to the CPM program when the Congress is waging a fierce struggle against the government on the Silver Line. Although K Sudhakaran took a firm stand on the issue, Tharoor and Thomas were waiting for the AICC’s stand.
